Event Information
Raymond Benson, the author of 20 published books, presents this seminar for students of creative writing. Learn the techniques and tips for writing in the suspense and mystery genres, including tried-and-true methods of creating readable, saleable thrillers. Benson is the author of the classic 007 reference book, The James Bond Bedside Companion and was chosen by Ian Fleming Publications in 1995 to write new Bond novels. His first effort was published in 1997 and was followed by five full-length original novels and three film novelizations, including The World is Not Enough and Die Another Day. Under the pseudonym David Michaels, Benson is also the author of the NY Times best-selling books Tom Clancys Splinter Cell and its sequel Tom Clancys Splinter CellOperation Barracuda. His recent original suspense novels include Evil Hours, Face Blind, and Sweeties Diamonds.
